SILab research consists in the design and development of innovative electronic sealing systems and identification techniques. Originally, seals and identification techniques provided by SILab were commissioned by international Nuclear Safeguards authorities (e.g. IAEA) to safeguard nuclear material such as fresh or spent fuel containers and transport/storage casks of various kinds.
In the last years, SILab optimized the design and production process of electronic seals, with a consequent drop in the seals cost. Therefore, the SILab technologies are now suitable for a wide range of applications, as indicated in the following menu.
